Following an All-America career, L.T. went to the New York Giants in the
first round. L.T. was the only defensive player in NFL history to win the
MVP taking the award in 1986 and was the marquee player on the 1986 and 1990
Super Bowl teams. When retiring from football in 1993, L.T. was widely
acknowledged as the greatest defensive player in NFL history with 142 sacks
in 10 Pro Bowl seasons. The ultimate warrior, L.T. once played the week
after breaking a leg, missed one game with a broken foot, and had a three
sack, two forced fumble game against New Orleans with a torn shoulder and a
pectoral muscle that was so ripped up L.T. had to play in a harness.
After 12 years of searching for a more intense way to display her talent,
L.T. is back at the top of her game. Her transition from the gridiron to
ultimate has been seamless, as she leads all players (male and female)
internationally in D's, scores, assists, and injuries given. Offensively
untouchable, she'll shake you like a salt shaker, burn you like an Oakland
hillside, and make you cry for mommy. Defensively cunning, she'll softly
caress your tender underbelly then rip the disc right out of your hands
while it's still rotating. Like manna from the sky, she's coming to Sarasota
on a pigeon driven bus...favorite food: baby. |
