Don't let his moniker fool you, our Fagina is the best around. Whether
going deep or laying, this mate of ours never tires.
Adam was spotted at Mischief tryouts in March 2006 laying out on D at
least three seconds late for most discs. This did not impress some on
Mischief, although others saw the Mischief heart burning in his chest.
Still other members of the team, mostly female, felt a burning heat
of their own when they watched him chasing down a disc, his locks of
curly brown hair trailing in the wind. We could not pass up the
opportunity to recuit one of the sport's up-and-coming stars.
Adam was adopted by one of Mischief's stellar "men": our resident
polar bear, Tyler Grant. Adam quickly became the team cub, learning
quickly from "daddy." An unlikely pair of stars, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor
are often seen roaming the fields together, paw in paw, pondering the
mysteries of bearhood.
Even though he was still in high-school, Adam
managed to finish his homework in time for practice. His dedication to
practice and improvement allowed us to quickly mold his raw athleticism
and heart into the tools of a well-balanced ultimate player. For example,
instead of being foot-blocked on every throw, Adam now manages to get at
least half of his throws into the air.
An integral part of Mischief, Adam quickly became a defensive mainstay.
Finishing his first club championship on the field, our young cub has
grown a lot since we first introduced him to the "fake." Although his
fakes will now likely put a defender on his back, this is one Fagina that
never fakes it. Don't believe us? Ask him yourself... For a good time,
